Our founder, Ramona Maricutiu, brings over 30 years of experience in elderly care. With a small garden and planters on site, residents also enjoy helping care for fresh herbs and vegetables, creating a true sense of home and community.

Care Team
At Mountlake Terrace AFH, care begins with our owner, Ramona Maricutiu, a certified nursing assistant who has dedicated her life to serving seniors with compassion and dignity. Ramona is deeply involved in daily care, often preparing home-cooked meals inspired by residents’ cultural traditions and tending to a small garden where residents can join in, enjoying the comfort of fresh herbs and vegetables.
Supporting Ramona is her daughter, Ali Blake, our manager, who brings more than a decade of experience in elderly care. Ali leads with a balance of professionalism and empathy, ensuring that both residents and staff feel supported every day.
Together with our dedicated care team, we provide attentive, professional support around the clock:
- Two caregivers on duty during the day
- One caregiver overnight
- An on-call registered nurse for additional support
With both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion, our team ensures every resident receives the respectful, loving care they deserve in a warm, family-like home.
